E4 environment, an environmental consultancy founded by Dr Mandy Stoker in 1999, has been providing advice to public and private sector organisations on renewable energy, waste management, producer responsibility, environmental accreditation, carbon footprinting and sustainability in business.  It was working closely with businesses that she realised that businesses needed support to deal with increasing environmental regulatory requirements.  To make our services more accessible to SMEs, we launched the Green Achiever Scheme in 2006, making it one of the first web-based services in the UK for sustainable businesses. Since then, we have helped hundreds of organisations to identify, and improve upon, their environmental credentials. Time has moved on, and in line with the growing understanding and urgency of climate change, we are maturing as a scheme.  We are not just “achievers” of change, we are looking to make you “leaders”.
