They stand as a leading manufacturer and supplier of drilling equipment in the UK and Ireland. This award recognises the good practices they are already attaining and the improvement ambitions they have set themselves going forwards. Energy

In a great display of environmental stewardship aligned with commercial sense, JKS Boyles installed 238 solar panels. Also integrated a battery storage systems- they are in the process of increasing it’s capacity. This has resulted in both significantly reduced energy costs alongside noteworthy reductions in their carbon footprint. The company has also embraced the future of transportation by installing EV charging points at its facility in Mansfield.

Biodiversity

Local ecosystems have been enhanced by JKS Boyles. They have planted over 170 trees, including fruit trees, and thousands of plants and bushes at its site. This green initiative not only beautifies the surroundings but also supports biodiversity and ecological balance.

Waste

In their quest to minimise waste and optimise energy consumption, they have eliminated single-use paper rolls and installed photosensitive LED lighting. These measures reflect the company’s dedication to refining procedures and achieving superior environmental performance.
